2013 Nissan Altima Sedan pricing details

Automotive Dealer - 2013 Nissan Altima Sedan pricing details, designed 2013 Nissan Altima sedan, but 2013 Nissan Altima sedan ; The redesigned 2013 Nissan Altima sedan will go on sale with a starting price of $21,500, excluding a $780 destination fee. That's a $950 increase from the 2012 model, but the base 2013 Altima is better equipped. Pricing is comparable to the 2012 Toyota Camry, which starts at $21,955, and the 2012 Hyundai Sonata equipped with an automatic transmission, which starts at $20,795. The 2013 Ford Fusion, base 2013 Chevrolet Malibu, and 2013 Honda Accord haven't been priced yet.

The model will be available in 2.5, 2.5 S, 2.5 SV, 2.5 SL, 3.5 S, 3.5 SV and 3.5 SL. That's a big jump in models for the Altima sedan, which was previously available in just three trims. The explosion in trim levels is directly correlated to the increase in features and in a simplification of option packages compared to the 2012 Altima sedan.

The Altima comes standard with a 182-horsepower, 2.5-liter four cylinder engine, a continuously variable automatic transmission and 16-inch steel wheels. In the cabin, Bluetooth connectivity with audio streaming, push-button start, remote keyless entry and a 4-inch color instrument display are also standard. The instrument cluster's color display — Nissan calls it Advanced Drive-Assist — can show information for the audio system, mpgs, trip computer, tire pressure monitoring and navigation (when equipped).

The S trim adds a six-way power adjustable driver's seat, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, a passive entry system, six speaker audio system, automatic headlights and in-cabin air filter. The 3.5 S trim adds a 270-hp, 3.5-liter V-6.

SV trims get dual-zone automatic climate controls, remote engine start, leather-wrapped steering wheel, alloy wheels, a backup camera, a six-speaker audio system with a USB port and satellite radio, and a 5.0-inch center console display featuring Nissan's new multimedia system called NissanConnect. The system features Pandora radio, hands-free text messaging, Google Maps and Google's real-time point-of-interest interface. 3.5 SV trims also add a moonroof, fog lights and a HomeLink garage door opener.

Top-of-the-line SL trims get leather seats, a nine-speaker Bose audio system, an eight-way power adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats and steering wheel, heated side mirrors, LED taillights, LED turn signals in the side mirrors, power moonroof, auto-dimming rearview mirror and a HomeLink garage door opener.

Three option packages are available: a 2.5 SV Convenience Package (Nissan doesn't mention features, but we'd expect a moonroof, fog lights and maybe an eight-way power adjustable driver's seat) for $1,350. A Navigation Package on the SV trims adds a 7.0-inch center console display, steering-wheel navigation controls and turn-by-turn navigation for $590. SL trims have a Technology Package, which adds navigation, blind spot warning, lane departure warning and pedestrian warning systems for $1,090.

All-in-all, the Nissan Altima tops out at $31,565 for a 3.5 SL with Technology Package and a rear spoiler.
