The dashboard is dominated by the sporty three-spoke steering wheel which also gets brushed steel inserts on the central spoke. The air-vents are from the SLS AMG sports car but instead of the two on each side of the center console there are three lined-up with two on either side of the dashboard. The switch gear us typical of Mercedes-Benz cars of today. The car also comes with a screen for Mercedes’ COMAND infotainment system with option of a bigger screen as well.

Now, we reported about the new developments that are taking place around infotainment systems in cars and how Mercedes’ engineers are working on making the experience more and more driver friendly. The new revamped COMAND infotainment system complete with an advanced voice control as well as gesture control will be available in the new B-Class.

Buyers will also be able to choose from modern, sport and classic trims for their dashboard. The instrument cluster is adorned by two big, circular as well as analogue dials which read speed and engine rpm respectively with a central multi-functional display. Seats get a sporty treatment as well with contrasting stitching for the leather. The dashboard can also be covered with stitched ARTICO man-made leather as per customer demand.
