Automotive Dealer - hyundai elantra 2012 price in malaysia ; The South Korean based carmaker Hyundai is planning to release its Elantra model, the fifth generation of the vehicle, in Malaysia in early 2012.
According to the car manufacturer, the new Hyundai Elantra will be going to Malaysia with a choice of two petrol engines, in the form of an 1.8 liter and a 1.6 liter, MPIs. Hyundai says that the new Elantra’s 1.6 liter engine Gamma MPI engine is developing a total output of 130 PS at 6.300 rpm while the larger 1.8 liter Nu MPI unit is generating 150 PS at 6.500 rpm. Both engines will be mated ti a six-speed transmission which is made by Hyundai.
The automaker didn’t say anything about the coupe version of the Elantra yet but the model is rumored to hit the Chicago Motor Show in February, 2012. Even if there is no official word on the powerplant, performance or fuel consumption for the future Hyundai Elantra Coupe, the company says that the model will have a sporty feel and a sportier trim compared to the sedan version. The new Elantra is known in Europe as the Hyundai i30 while in Korea is being sold as the Avante. Sadly there’s no more official news about the upcoming Hyundai Coupe but more details about the model will be announced at its 2012 Chicago Motor Show debut.
